WordPress Automatic responsive images

Dealing with big sized images in posts is not easy. The normale way is to embed a thumbnail or smaller version of the image, give it a link to open the full sized image, maybe using a thick- or lightbox. Now, viewportindustries analyzes some new techniques to deal with this sort of challenge. The idea are responsive images which are resized in depending on the screen resolution and browser window size. Using a script Josh Emerson an example how this can work and a detailed description is shown at the viewportindustries blog.

It is worth a try. 🙂
